About Two Alvin’s Cattle

                              II

Two Alvin’s Cattle is a family-owned cow-calf operation that has dedicated their lives to producing high-quality cattle and beef since 2007. We pasture raise Registered Black Angus cattle in Ralls, TX (east of Lubbock) and finish them on the best feeds available to achieve premium quality marbling.

The Two Alvin’s Advantage: We are farmers. Not only do we raise cattle, we also grow and tend to the crops that feed our cattle giving you the peace of mind you want whether you’re aiming to increase the quality of your herd or enjoy premium farm to table beef for your next meal.

The Two Alvin’s Guarantee: We know every acre of land and every cow we raise because we are dedicated to our craft. That means we can always guarantee that the animal was bred humanely and is a true Texas-raised product. Our beef will always come from a single high-quality animal so you’ll never have to second guess your decision when you choose Two Alvin’s Cattle.

Our Legacy

                              II

In 1898, Thomas Jefferson Morrison purchased a tract of land just east of Lubbock near what would eventually be known as Ralls, Texas. Like many others during that time, he began raising crops and livestock to sustain his family’s way of life.

Now, over 100 years and 5 generations later, we are still farming the same land and our commitment to raising premium quality cattle has remained the passion of our family. We are grateful that we have seen this tradition only grow stronger through the years, but the real legacy that has been passed down through the generations are the values we’ve inherited.

Values like hard work, dedication, passion, and loyalty guide us through the hard times and are the cornerstone of our successes.

Meet our owners
Riley & Becca Morris

                              II

Riley and Becca Morris both come from farming and dairy backgrounds with each being at least the fourth generation in their family to be actively engaged in agriculture. Riley and his parents started Two Alvin’s Cattle in 2007 with 18 Registered Angus heifers and over the years has grown the herd to a 150 head of both Registered Angus and Angus Cross cows. In 2017 he was able to bring that operation back to the family farm in Ralls TX.

Riley and Becca live in Midland where they recently welcomed their twin boys, Campbell Alvin and Beckett James, to the family. They cannot wait to pass on their love and passion for agriculture to them.

Riley’s parents, Alvin “Al” and Kathy Morris have actively been engaged in farming and ranching for their entire 41 years of marriage. Al farmed the land in Ralls with Kathy’s Dad, Alvin Morrison, for more than 15 years. Al and Kathy have since moved to Happy, TX and manage a portion of the operation there and in Shamrock, TX.

The bond between Alvin, Al and Kathy was the source of inspiration behind the name Two Alvin’s Cattle and the reason we strive to be passionate in our day-to-day work.
